This novel begins at the time of the
Renaissance written in Spain, with the story of Lazaro de Tormes, who at eight
years of age was orphaned as a father because he was accused of theft. His
mother married a black man and they had a mulatto son, just as his father was
also accused of robbery once again being left alone.

teenager, they moved to Salamanca where a blind man suggested Lazaro's mother
to let him be his guide; After a few days the blind man and Lazarus moved.
The blind man was
very bad and intelligent, he never fed Lazarus and he had to fix them as he
could and tricked him into stealing food using various tricks. When the blind
man realized how hard he hit him. With the blind lazaro he learned to live with
lies and deceptions; finally Lazaro got tired and decided to take revenge on
